Artist

Artists are very sensory, very focused on “what is” and “physically exists.” Abstract concepts, ideas, and “possibilities” are not their forte. Artists often want to create a strong sensory experience for others (and be admired/praised for their effort), but they struggle to “plan” or “make a decision.” They’re more “reactive.”

Artists have a strong sense of duty and discipline, but it’s almost always defined by their own personal goals (they do not readily conform or submit to the authority of others). They like to choose and will often rebel against any form of “command” or “directive.” Options are key.

Artists tend to be confident, direct, and honest. Arrogance and egotism are not uncommon.

Idealist

Idealists focus on abstract ideas, concepts, and possibilities (particularly the thoughts and emotions of others). They are very “people” focused, and (tend to be) less skilled with concrete sensory tools and activities.

Idealists are often very aware of “how things could be better” and often want to “make things better.” It can manifest in “more personalized care for others,” or by trying to change practices, plans, or even beliefs and “systems” themselves.

Idealists tend to be very caring and generous with others, but often don’t take such good care of themselves. They can easily “give too much” or forget to perform “self-maintenance,” sometimes becoming so focused on the problem or task that they forget to eat or sleep.
